Safe Space Mental Wellness center

Safe Space mental health project  is a place where people can receive customised mental health in English in different shapes and forms. It is a safe place without any judgements or biases where anyone can feel supported and understood during  difficult times. It could simply be a place to decompress and exercise or discover oneself through mental health tools or a support system to solve deeper psychological issues.  

 We have various types of therapeutic services   with a different format.    We offer   private therapy session for individuals (adults and children) ,  couples and families, group therapy sessions, mindfulness yoga and meditation sessions in a group, and mental health retreats. We also host a Free monthly Mental health support group once a month.   You can see all our events on the event page, in Meetup and facebook announcements.

This is why I created a special approach that combines traditional techniques such as CBT, TA and Psychodynamic movement and less conventional techniques such as breathing exercising, mindfulness, somatic therapy, EFT tapping method, visualisations, family constellation, and art-therapy."

Psychotherapy sessions

Individual sessions are the most effective way  to address mental health in a more private  manner.   Individual therapy for adults and    children   are available either online or  face-to-face.  
The therapy sessions are customised to each client, depending on the problem, client’s personality and therapeutic preferences. After the first first call, the therapist will evaluate the problem and propose tools and a plan of treatment. 

 Methods  our therapist works with: CBT, TA, Psychodynamic, EFT tapping. EMDR, Gestalt, Family constellation,  Art-therapy.

Issues our therapist can help with: depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, ADHD, insomnia, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts/suicide survivors, OCD, PTSD, traumatic experiences, sexual, physical or emotional abuse.

Group therapies

 Group therapies are a great way to work on certain traumas and get out of the comfort zone. It is also very important to see that there is many like minded people that struggle with the same issues and that you are not alone. Currently, I offer Art-therapy group sessions where you can learn about yourselves while drawing and painting and  overcoming traumas through art, music, and many other tools.   All sessions are led by and interpreted by a licensed therapist.   Just   imagine  yourself  expressing your feelings on canvas a while listening to some great records… 
We also host a free monthly  Mental health support group where we discuss mental health topics and support each other. Check our events to see when is the next one.

 Mindful Vinyasa yoga & meditation (Tue@9:30 am)

I started offering yoga and meditation sessions to my clients who suffer from anxiety and panic attacks.  I practice vinyasa yoga for 17 years and teach for over 5 years.   Physical activity combined with breathing and mindful exercises are proven to be  effective tools in reducing stress, improving sleep, and improving your overall mental state. With consistency, these are powerful tools that can replace calming and sleeping medication, and even antidepressants. Some classes in specific days will have more physical emphasis  and some days we will discuss talk about mindful lifestyle and focus on breathing exercises.
